 Riding my road bike in yellow dust storms in western China, competing in a long distance triathlon in a brutal rainstorm in Jeju Korea, and swimming with my friends around the world, I learn new things, every year, every second.
Along with my interests in exercise and dining, I'm interested in how government officials interpret and translate international conventions in local socio-political contexts. More specifically, I am interested in how words gain pragmatic presence in a particular context.
