TAKA's Page contains the small photos of "the Bremen Animal Band" who appeared in Osaka. A "dog-woman" plays the small accordion.

Recently, I discovered the home page of the Shibata Gospel Church, writing "Welcome to the church of the accordion and the peace". The pastor Takeo Hasegawa teaches the accordion class at this church. He once took the lessons by the accordionist Satoshi Kubota and Mototaka Kaneko.
The chromatic accordionist Ms Mizue's web page is now open (Click here). Her message (written in Japanese) is renewed on every Monday. And she also has her "corner" in the TV program "Rainbow Cafe" of Tokyo M.P.TV, in which she talks on the topics of the accordions and music for 3 minutes on every Monday..

On 5 Apr., a famous accordionist Mototaka Kaneko's book "Accordion Is Pleasant - new version" was published and now on sale. This book was first published in 1996, and reprinted in 1997. In this new version, some photos and cartoons he drew were added (His other cartoons are carried on this page) This is undoubtedly one of the most interesting book in the world that was written by an accordionist, although it may be Greek to the people who do not understand Japanese. One of the most famous accordionists in Japan Mr.KANEKO (his foto) has reliesed his 2nd CD which contains 17 tunes. The sound source of his CDs was his live performance in a "beer hall" in Tokyo more than 20 years ago. These CDs would let you feel as if you were back into the golden age of accordions in Japan. .

Basque quintet band "Alaitz eta Maider", which features "trikitixa"(Basque diatonic-accordion) player Ms Alaitz TELLETXEA (age 24), will tour in Japan.
