S. Ryu gave an invited talk at Interphotonics 2019, an international conference held in Antalya, Turkey.

28 October 2019
Fourth-year undregraduate students had a party at a restaurant at Nakano.
They are conducting their reserch works successfully for an iterium report poster session of guraduation thesis which will be held on 16 November.













11-13 September 2019
Three papers were presented at IEICE Society Convention held at Osaka University, Japan.

30 August 2019
IEICE Technical Committe Meeting was held at Kushiro, Hokkaido.
Two graduate students presented their papers.

10 July 2019
S. Ryu presented a paper about novel optical reflectometry method at OECC/PSC 2019 held at Fukuoka Convention Center.

26 March 2019
Seven fourth-year undergraduate students attended the graduation ceremony.












19-20 March 2019
Six papers were presented at IEICE General Convention held at Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan. Four undergraduate students and two graduate students presented their papers.

13 March 2019
Fourth-year undergraduate students completed graduation thesis. All the students in a lab got together and had a farewell party.

A fourth-year undergraduate student presented a paper at OFC2019 (Optical Fiber and Communications Conference) which was held at San Diego, California, U.S.A.

21 December 2018
Year-end party (bonenkai) was held an Italian restaurant at Nakano.
The year`s accomplishments of our lab have been great including one invited talk at international conference, two international conference papers, and six domestic conference papers.

The research theme of all third graders has been decided and personal page is added.

26-29 October 2018
Two graduate students presented papers at ACP2018 (Asia Communications and Photonics Conference) which was held at Hangzhou, China.

12 October 2018
S. Ryu presented an invited talk entitled "Application of angle diversity technique to optical wireless communication systems for smartphones" at Interphotonics 2018 which was held at Antalya, Turley.

11-13 September 2018
Six papers were presented at IEICE Society Convention held in Kanazawa, Japan. Three undergraduate students and three graduate students presented their papers.

7 and 8 September 2018
Fourth-year undergraduate students and graduate students visited Izu Shimoda area for a seminar lodging trip.


























21 and 22 August 2018
Demonstration on optical wireless communication (Li-Fi) was carried out at Nakano Open Campus.

20 July 2018
Third-year undergraduate students successfully finished the spring term seminar.
They joined at a Spanish&Mexican restaurant near Nakano station.
They have term examinations in the next week.

Nine third-year undergraduate students have joined our Laboratory.
A welcome party was held at an Italian restaurant.

Profiles of third-year undergraduate students have been added.

13 October 2017
Third-year undergraduate students have finished learning fundamentals on optical fiber communications, and will start individual research from the next week.
They had a party with fourth-year undergraduate students who have already been engaged in their research works at Japanese izakaya restaurant.
