To students who wish to join our laboratory
The main activities of this laboratory are
as follows.
Skillfully operate dynamic machine systems
tailored to specific purposes.
Invent devices that communicate between humans
and machines.
In robotics, primarily focusing on hardware
development, we devise the principles of
operation for mechanisms, sensors, servos,
etc., to create flexible movements, and develop
physical interfaces to enable movement as
intended by humans.
In engineering, the fields of application
and integrated technology are targeted, which
is characterized by a wide range of related
areas. This includes mechanical design, device
manufacturing, sensor development, sensor
system configuration, servomechanism technology,
software development, motion analysis, control
system design and analysis, ergonomics, and
various other aspects.
You don't need to know all of this from the
beginning, but if you start with what interests
you and expand from there on your own, the
possibilities will widen, and your study
will become much more interesting.
The driving force behind the research in
this laboratory is inspiration and creativity.
The main activity will revolve around establishing
one's own ideas to realize themes chosen
independently, utilizing what has been learned
so far and what is newly studied. Furthermore,
we expect you to boldly engage in expanding
your perspectives, changing viewpoints, discussing
with colleagues, and experimenting.
