Kohei Noguchi defends his Master’s thesis

Kohei Noguchi successfully defended his Master’s thesis. The title of his thesis is “Experimental and numerical investigation on two degree of freedom piecewise-linear nonlinear systems with gaps under harmonic excitation”.

Kohei has conducted research on systems with intermittent contact for the past two years at the Structural Dynamics Laboratory.

Kohei Noguchi awarded Graduate School’s President’s Award

Kohei Noguchi received the graduate school’s president’s award. The award is given to a limited number of graduate students who achieved great accomplishment during the graduate program. Congratulations, Kohei!

Graduate student Ryo Sugai presented research at WCSMO-13 (Beijing, China)

Graduate student Ryo Sugai presented research at the 13th World Congress of Structural and Multidisciplinary Optimization (WCSMO-13), which was held 5/20-5/24 in Beijing, China. In addition, Saito gave a poster presentation regarding the research topic conducted by the lab alumnus Daichi Sakamoto.
