The accordion at war

After the war in Pacific Ocean broke out in Dec.1941, the Ministry of the Navy presented " Song of the Great Victory in Hawaii and the Malay Sea". Eguchi, the composer of the song, played a piano-type-accordion. Its shape is not so round as modern models, and the keys are also longer and narrower. They assumed a classic model. The piano-type-accordion was very expensive for the common Japanese at that time. In those days, the smaller and cheaper diatonic-accordions were spread among the Japanese.
