The 2006 International Workshop on Sustainable Energy and Materials will be held in Tokyo, Japan on September 5, 2006. Sponsored by the Meiji University Hightech Research Center that has been cofounded by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan and Meiji University, the Workshop brings together researchers and practitioners in the area of theory, design, and implementation of Sustainable Energy and Materials. The Workshop will include regular technical papers, and invited ones. It has three tracks; Power Systems (Track 1), Power Electronics (Track 2) and Environmental Materials (Track 3). Perspective authors are invited to submit papers on sustainable energy and materials but not limited to:

Track 1(Power Systems):

-Renewable Energy
-Intelligent Systems

Track 2(Power Electronics):
-Analysis and Control of AC Motors
-SR Motor Drives
-PM Motor Drives
-EMI Reduction in Power Electronics

-Energy Storage Systems

Track 3(Environmental Materials):
-Rare-Earth Bonded Magnets
-Ba-W Type Ferrites
-Material and Process Technologies for Solar Cells
-Environmental Semiconductor and Related Silicide Materials
-Fine Magnetics
-Other Materials for Low Power Consumption devises
-Bio-microscope
-Laser Measurement System


Authors are invited to submit a 4-page full paper according to the guidelines (IEEE Format). Only electronic submission will be accepted by the Web at the following:
